If you've ever doubted that the only basis of Liberal/Leftist thought is ideology, consider these little observations...
- Before the Iraq war, the pinkos urged us to give the UN Weapons inspectors all the time in the world to find weapons. After the war, the Bush administration has exactly three seconds to accomplish the same thing (while trying to establish order, etc.)
- Although an incontrovertible link between Al Qaeda and Saddam has been established, this is somehow of no importance to the pinks, as the WMD (weapons of mass destruction) issue is now all important. Of course, if any are found, they will be dismissed as fake, or not worth the war effort.
- By all standards, the Iraq war set new records in speed, efficiency, and care to avoid civilian casualties. Yet, not one single big Democrat has so much as given even lame credit where credit is due.
- Many pinks, like Hillary Clinton, are whining about their patriotism being questioned. Worse, semi-cons like Sean Hannity are apologetic, saying that he never questioned their patriotism. Well, he should have! If you can't support your country in a war, especially one defined with such precise objectives, then what does patriotism mean? Have Clinton and company EVER shown love of country?
Want to know why WWII has been forever enshrined as the quintessentially wonderful war by all these pinks? Easy. Stalin was our ally.
Don't believe me? Read any obit about any 1930's-1950's Leftist. (The most fun ones are about the geometrically expanding list of Hollywood blacklist victims.) They are thankfully dying off these days in record numbers. You will always find some statement referring to the war against "Fascism." Never will you see that they fought FOR the US.
