Gloria
Allred and many others continue to use the expression "President-Select"
Bush, suggesting that his election was somehow invalid. OK. Let's
review what actually happened.
At
first, Bush was declared the winner. Then, Al Gore took the case
into court. What was Bush supposed to do? Concede right then? The
case went to the Supreme Court, and Bush was declared the winner.
What's the problem? If Gore had been declared the winner in the
same tribunal, that would have been more valid?
Or,
is the issue an activist Supreme Court? Don't even go there, ye
of Roe v. Wade and Miranda v. Arizona.
