For pure political tribalism, it's hard to beat Ebony Magazine's recent list of the 100+ Most Influential Black Americans.
You know who ISN'T on there, of course: Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Alan Keyes, and Clarence Thomas. I realize that the first three couldn't be expected to make it because they're con-con-con-servative. Scandalous! But to regard a Supreme Court Justice as not influential is nonsensical in the extreme.
Sure enough, Jesse Jackson is on there--famous recently for producing a few bastard children. You can't deny HIS influence, I guess, what with a 70 percent Black illegitimacy rate.
But I thought the idea was POSITIVE influences.
