Barely
seven weeks after the attacks of September 11th, the know-nothing
peaceniks are back on the prowl. Based on media coverage,
nearly every college in this country is hosting anti-war
demonstrations. While this is true, reports from actual
students say that they are so small as to be virtually invisible--but
you wouldn't know that from the publicity.
The
best part, though, is letting these idiots speak:
"War
never solved anything" [Tell that to Adolf Hitler or
General Cornwallis]
"Violence
begets more violence" [And your point is...]
"Give
peace a chance" [We did, and now have 5,000 dead and
anthrax scares]
"We
have to understand the other side" [I'm sure that was
JUST what the doomed World Trade Center workers were thinking
about, seconds before they died. Besides, think how much
the other side wants to understand us.]

Def Rumsfeld announced that the bombing will continue into
Ramadan, and that was the only reasonable thing to do. Do
you think that Iran or Iraq took a break during their war?
Did the Arab world mind that Yom Kippur is the holiest Jewish
day when they launched their war in October, 1973? They
didn't seem to care about Ramadan then, either. And, according
to historical accounts, Mohammed himself engaged in acts
of war during Ramadan.
For
what it's worth (apparently not much), the last two wars
the US has been in, have been to defend Muslims. Just look
at the daily news reports. That's gratitude for you!!
